The unique structure of the David Chapel Missionary Baptist Church was designed by John Saunders Chase in 1958 as a new home for the church’s congregation that had begun in a blacksmith shop in 1924. The Church has a unique roofline that guides the
visitor’s eye toward the cross in the sanctuary.
The 1958 building also features folding panels that increase the
functionality of the building, allowing it to be
subdivided into smaller areas.
