Tejano Monument unveiling ceremony, March 29th, 2012
Interpretive plaques recount the History of Hispanic Texans in the Lone Star State.
Unveiled on the Texas State Capitol grounds in late March, 2012,
the Tejano monument acknowledges and celebrates notable Hispanic contributions
history. Life size bronze figures grace
a Texan sourced, granite plinth, and include a Spanish conquistador, hacendado,
and a Tejano herdsman and family tending to livestock.
