Austin: Tejano Walking Trail

Located in the Tejano neighborhoods of East Cesar Chavez and Holly near downtown Austin, this 4.9-mile self-guided trail features 22 culturally significant sites. In 2012, the Tejano Walking Trail was designated a National Walking Trail. It is best toured by foot or bicycle, though many parts can be seen by vehicle. Featured sites along the trail include the Oswaldo A.B. Cantu/Pan American Recreation Center, neighborhood parks, churches, Hispanic-owned businesses, historic homes, and community murals.
