Home of the Texas Military Forces Museum, Camp Mabry was established in the 1890s. Inside the 45,000-square-foot museum, battle dioramas, full-scale war-scene mock-ups, weapons, and uniforms shed light on the state's role in conflicts ranging from the Texas Revolution to the U.S.-Mexico War to both World Wars, the Cold War, and contemporary operations.
Camp Mabry is an active military base and access is limited. Please call the Texas Military Forces Museum for detailed visitation instructions. Visitors typically gain access same day.
