Bellville: Turnverein Pavilion

Constructed with a center pole as its interior support, the historic and innovative 12-sided Turnverein Pavilion, was designed in 1897 by Joachim Hintz. Today it is operated by Bellville Parks and Recreation and used for community events.

Nearby, the 1928 Coshatte Hall was built in the octagonal design more commonly seen in the region. A gathering place for the Coshatte Agricultural Society, the name was adopted by the group in the late 1800s in reference to the nearby Coushatta Indian tribe.
