Conrad Meuly House & Store, circa 1936 (Library of Congress)
The Galvan House provides venue for the city’s Multicultural Center and special events throughout the year. Next door, the Grande-Grossman Home hosts the Tejano Civil Rights Museum. Also called La Casa Tejana, the museum focuses on the area’s rich Hispanic civil rights era. In the northeastern corner of the park, the Museum of Hispanic Culture displays folk art representing varied cultures of Latin America.
