Brush Country Museum, 201 S Stewart St.
This collection of restored and relocated buildings provide an idea of what life was like in early 20th century South Texas brush country. The museum features many pictures, displays, and artifacts as well as exhibits on LBJ’s early years teaching in the area.
From here, head east on Carrizo Street toward Front Street, which parallels the railroad tracks.
