Dedicated in 1902 as the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, the city’s oldest Catholic Church is in the heart of the Dallas Arts District. Spanish language services are held daily. In 1977, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in the nearby “Little Mexico” neighborhood, joined Sacred Heart to create one parish renamed the Cathedral Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
