Pike Park—and the former Little Mexico barrio that once surrounded it—provided a community home for Mexican immigrants to Texas during and following the Mexican Revolution in the early 1900s. The park and several Little Mexico community structures and organizations still remain, including El Fenix restaurant, and the Luna’s Tortilla Factory and St. Anne’s School buildings.
