Now known as the Camino Real Hotel, this historic downtown destination introduced opulence and luxury to El Paso in 1912. From the outset, it served many influential patrons—from political figures such as Mexican revolutionary Pancho Villa to U.S. presidents and Hollywood stars. During the Mexican Revolution, guests witnessed battles taking place just across the border from the hotel terrace.
