El Paso: El Segundo Barrio

El Segundo Barrio counts among the oldest neighborhoods in El Paso county, and is considered the birthplace of the Chicano movement in West Texas.  Historic murals decorate local businesses and residences throughout the barrio and recount the neighborhood’s history, from agrarian past to urban present.
