Portrait of Joseph Magoffin
Joseph Magoffin and family, circa 1905
Magoffin Home explores stories of the Magoffin family who actively participated in U.S. expansion and settlement, military service, trade on the Santa Fe-Chihuahua trail, Civil War turmoil and U.S.-Mexico relations. A prime example of Territorial style architecture, the home is one of the oldest surviving adobe structures in the area.
