Prayers and requests written by visitors to the shrine
On the grounds of a diminutive cemetery just east of Falfurrias, visitors may stop to honor the memory of South Texas folk saint and healer, Don Pedro Jaramillo. Don Pedro’s grave rests within a small shrine populated with perpetually burning candles and the sincerely scrawled prayers of passing convalescents in need of a cure.
