Goliad: Market House Museum

Market House Museum features exhibits about farming and ranching – including a wall of local cattle brands – as well as artifacts from early Texas and American Indian life. Its building, built in 1871, was formerly used as a meat and produce market and later a firehouse before being restored as a museum in 1967.
