Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on the Scotus College Campus
In 1926, a Franciscan seminary moved to Hebbronville from Mexico to escape ongoing religious persecution at the hands of the Mexican government and established Scotus College. Though persecution of the Franciscans in Mexico subsided, Scotus College continues to host visiting monastics and to serve the Hebbronville community.
