Old Hildago Pumphouse
A fascinating piece of industrial architecture, the restored Hidalgo Pumphouse is evidence of the engineering that transformed the Rio Grande Valley into a year-round farming paradise. The museum is the starting point for a monthly trolley tour, or visitors can take a self-guided tour by heading north on Bridge Street, originally one of the main north-south routes connecting the U.S. and Mexico.
