Houston: Buffalo Soldiers National Museum

In World War I, more than 370,000 African-Americans served in the US Army. One man who symbolizes the story of African-Americans in the Great War, amidst the backdrop of racism and oppression in the United States, was Walter Potts.

The Buffalo Soldier National Museum is dedicated to telling the incredible - and often difficult - story of African-Americans in the US Armed Forces.
