La India Packing Company
Don Antonio Rodriguez and his wife Doña Antonia opened La India in 1924, selling Mexican chocolate and spices from their home. Today, La India specializes in spice sales, and still operates from the Rodriguez family home. The Rodriguez’s granddaughter, Elsa, owns and operates La India to great success, recently expanding the business to include an acclaimed onsite café.
