La Posada Hotel, 1000 Zaragoza St.
La Posada Hotel stands on the site of Laredo’s original casa judicial (government house or town hall) and represents a very early example of adaptive reuse. The front public portion of the hotel uses parts of the 1916 high school building constructed over the older building sites. Other parts of the complex are located in what were adjacent residential structures that date from the 1800s.
