The Texas Forestry Museum tells the story of industry in the forests of Texas and is one of the largest museums of its kind in the United States. It’s a fitting place to remember some of the war’s unsung heroes: the African-Americans loggers and lumbermen who served in the vital forestry units in Europe during the Great War.
