This modest church atop a hill in the Central Texas city of Mason has been serving the Catholic community for more than a century. Built in 1876 of red sandstone rocks quarried from the area, St. Joseph's was originally a small one-room chapel that has since expanded to include a parish hall and classrooms for religious education.
