Established in 1983 by the Bosque County Historical Commission, the Bosque County Collection collects and preserves historic materials pertaining to the county. Among other local records on file here a portion of the papers and oral histories of musicologist John Lomax, who archived and recorded many of the cowboy songs from the trail. The first floor contains local history exhibits.
