Charles Nagel, a Millheim native, served as Secretary of Commerce and Labor in Taft administration.
Millheim Hall is still owned and operated by the Millheim Harmonie Verein, established in 1872. The hall was built in 1874, torn down in 1938 and rebuilt on land donated by Otto Severin. Several events – including a Maifest, Christmas Tree Dance, and New Year’s Ball – take place here annually.
