The Calhoun County Museum is home to a host of artifacts from the La Salle expedition, including shoes, bowls, lice combs, and other personal effects. Other exhibits interpret the cultural and maritime history of the county, including a scale model of Indianola prior to 1875 hurricane that destroyed the town.
