San Antonio Missions National Historic Park, 6701 San Jose Drive

An integral part of the Spanish colonizing effort in Texas, four historic Spanish missions and their associated churches line the San Antonio River as it courses south from the city center.   A paved hike and bike path connects the historic missions, providing visitors the opportunity to enjoy the San Antonio River’s natural environs, while visiting the fully interpreted historic mission sites.
